Biography

Jessica Valerio is an American performer (actress, singer, comedienne) who began stand-up comedy while living in Singapore back in 2012. During her time here, she cut her teeth at weekly open mics, performed alongside comedy professionals in Magner’s International Comedy Festival, and eventually created two of her own shows featuring local talent. In 2015 she moved home to continue her acting and singing career. She has since appeared on stage, film, television, podcasts, in every form from comedy to drama, musicals to political discourse. In 2018 she took on a management position at a major New York comedy club, and today is preparing for her one woman show “Latebloomer,” which tells the story of her life as a Jewish girl from Jersey through musical theatre parody songs.

Jessica Valerio is a comedienne, trans-activist, Jewess who has recently performed at the Magner’s International Comedy Festival in Singapore. She’s new to story-telling unless you count all the lies she tells her mother. She’s non-kosher, single and desperate. Call her.
