Biography

Jeanette Bears is a queer, non-binary New York City-based writer, filmmaker, and editor. They have directed and shot several short film projects, and love the art of storytelling and consuming all things queer (and romantic) in media. Their most recent short film, Starters, is in the last stages of completion, and their debut novel, Late City Summer is set for release in the fall. By day, Jeanette works at a film school in NYC, is a freelancer on film projects in their spare time, consumes and writes copious amounts of fanfiction, and loves nothing more than being with their wife and two pups in the great outdoors (or the gym where they coach), making adventures of their own.

The stairs and sidewalk are made of stone and appear in the same dark blue gray. The door and frame above the stairs are black, and the neighboring building is yellow.
