Curetly collaborates in the trans-feminist network EspicyNipples, where they passionately contribute to nurture trans-feminist spaces and amplify powerful voices for transformative change. They embarked on their academic journey at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez, initially drawn to the world of Electrical Engineering. However, their heart was set on a path of creative expression, leading them to Atlantic University College. There, they immersed themselves in Cinematography, honing their skills in visual storytelling and graphic design. This educational shift was more than just a change of majors; it was a journey of self-discovery and cultural reclamation. Through their studies, Steph developed a deep-seated commitment to authentic representation and social advocacy. This passion shines through in their directorial endeavors, particularly in the celebrated LGBTIQ+ short films SAM (2017) and Mano Santa (2020).
