Gina Pei Chi Chen is an independent filmmaker whose film and video works are informed by queer theories and the politics of identity. She holds a Bachelor of Media Arts degree from Emily Carr Institute of the Arts. She also studied film directing at a graduate level at California Institute of the Arts. Gina Pei Chi Chen has creative skills and an artistic eye in editing, producing, filming, motion design, color grading, and sound design for effective storytelling. Experienced and passionate in collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to bring their visions to life through various genres including documentary, promo/teaser, narrative, instructional/educational video, and social media contents. When time permits, Gina Pei Chi makes films that tell stories of underrepresented communities or individuals.
