Nicolas Jenkins (aka Sterile Cowboys & Co.) is a New York-based filmmaker and multimedia video artist. Previously living in Montreal, Jenkins established a name for himself within the underground queer warehouse party scene. His short films and videos have been shown in venues and film festivals across North America and Europe, including the Pompidou Center, Paris; Frameline Film Festival, SanFrancisco; Optica Festival of Video Art, Madrid; Les Rencontres Internationales, Paris/Berlin; New Fest, New York; and broadcast on PBS. His video art piece, The Bridge is included in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Canada. Jenkins has worked and collaborated with Genesis P-Orridge and PSYCHIC TV, House of Ladosha, and choreographer Mei-Yin Ng. Other subjects have included Amanda LePore, Antony and the Johnsons, Fischerspooner, and Momus, among many others. His work has been featured in Paper Magazine, Out, Dazed & Confused, Vice, i-D, The Daily Mail, and the Huffington Post.
