Bambi Katsura is a Japanese-Okinawan-American creator, collaborator, and filmmaker. They delight in pushing boundaries, exploring social justice themes, and creating inclusive works that challenge viewers and inspire change. In their work, they hope to foster community and value working with those who live beyond the margins of the mainstream. Their films have been featured in festivals around the world, including Frameline, Fringe!, and the Toronto Queer Film Festival. They are currently based in the Bay Area, and spend their days nurturing daydreams, birthing art, and tending to their beloved plants.
