Sarah (she/her) writes dark comedies and light dramas that depict the messy, heartfelt,
in-between moments of life. She especially gravitates toward coming-of-age stories
that examine the complexities of identity and make people laugh.
Most recently, Sarah was a staff writer on Season 2 of the Showtime dramedy Work in
Progress. Her original pilot Other Women placed in the 2021 PAGE International Screenwriting
Awards and the 2021 Austin Film Festival, and her original pilot Heartthrob High (fka
Friend Zone) placed in the 2020 Austin Film Festival and the 2020 Final Draft Big
Break competition.
Her writing has also appeared in several online publications, including Slate, Shondaland,
Digital Spy, Bustle, HelloGiggles, and Elite Daily.
As a five-year-old, Sarah staged a 1950s-style melodrama using only the coins from
her mom’s wallet; the production received much critical acclaim.
Sarah graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Film Studies. When she's not
immersing herself in all things pop culture and entertainment, she's usually talking
about her feelings, doing yoga, or trying to figure out how she can properly get her
hometown NY pizza shipped to LA.
