Vuk Lungulov-Klotz is a Chilean-Serbian filmmaker raised between Chile, New York City, and Serbia. He is an alum of the Sundance Institute Labs, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Program. As a transgender storyteller he hopes to expand queer narratives. His work focuses on intimate moments we often miss if we're not looking. His debut feature film, Mutt, premiered at the Sundance 2023 Film Festival, had its international premier at Berlinale 2023, and was the closing night film at the New Director / New Films Festival in New York City.

A Chilean-Serbian filmmaker raised between Chile, New York City, and Serbia, Vuk Lungulov-Klotz ’16 is a transgender storyteller who hopes to expand queer narratives. His work focuses on intimate moments we often miss if we’re not looking. Mutt, the debut feature film written and directed by Lungulov-Klotz, has been selected to screen at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, one of 12 films selected for the U.S. Dramatic Competition from thousands of entries. The film tells the story of Feña over the course of a single hectic day in New York City when three people from Feña’s past are thrust back into his life. Having lost touch since transitioning from female to male, he navigates the new dynamics of old relationships while tackling the day-to-day challenges of living life in between. Lungulov-Klotz twice attended the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriter’s Lab, one of only five “visionary storytellers” selected for the program. Each time, he spent a week working on his screenplay, receiving one-on-one support in an “environment of dynamic inspiration” at the Sundance Resort in Utah. His trans-themed short film, Still Liam, was his senior project and part of the Inside Out 2017 Toronto LGBT Film Festival, the GAZE International LGBT Film Festival, and was an award-winner at the Trans Stellar Film Festival. Lungulov-Klotz is an alum of the Tribeca Film Institute and the Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Program.
