Growing up in a Middle Class Indian Family, where most members pursued careers in engineering and medicine, the idea of becoming a filmmaker never crossed my mind. It was through writing that I discovered my true passion for self-expression. Filmmaking, for me, is not merely a profession; it's a means to convey my thoughts to the world and inspire others. Upon moving to the US for my Master's degree last year, I've gained valuable insights into life and self-discovery. To those back home, the immigrant life may seem luxurious, but the reality of starting anew in a foreign country can be quite overwhelming. As a storyteller, my goal is to harness my creativity to evoke a wide range of emotions in my audience. I aspire to do more than just make them feel sad or happy; I want them to experience satisfaction, fulfillment, and a sense of being heard after watching my films. My storytelling will always strive to blend realism with elements of fantasy while sharing the stories of people.
