Biography

McKelvey Courtney Collins is a playwright, choreographer, and stage manager from Lexington, Virginia, currently based in New York City. She holds a BFA from the New School for Drama. Her original plays include Depths of the Valley (IRT Theater) (also co-director, producer, choreographer, costume designer) and Jack Mormon (the New School) (also director, producer, costume designer). Previous stage management experience includes Ted Bundy’s Volkswagen (IRT Theater), Project: Library (Spark Theatre Festival), Trophy Boys (The Tank), Later Life (Katonah Classic Stage), Given Circumstances (the New School), Red Bike (the New School), and MFA New Visions Festival (the New School). Previous choreography works include the Identity and Present Expressions Concerts (Halestone Dance Studio).
