Boyd Kodak is a transsexual man, artist & activist. Cat Grant is a graduate of O.C.A.D. Integrated Media . Their film and video works includes entertainment, humanitarian outreach and education and have been screened Internationally. They have produced over 40 television segments and have been featured on radio and in educational facilities. They have curated programs for the Toronto Inside Out Lesbian & Gay Film & Video Festival, the San Francisco International Festival, the Queer City Cinema Regina and Canadian Touring festival and will be running the Counting Past 2 TS/IS/TG Festival in Toronto, 2002. Boyd is Inside Out's current Trans Consultant and Cat is on their Board of Directors. Their work on Transsexual Mexican woman Shadmith Manzo, raised awareness of her plight, and credited by P.O.V. magazine as instrumental in helping to save her life. Screening at the The Rights on Reel, Human Rights Festival and touring Canada, it was the first time work from within the community was included at a mainstream festival. They have been working towards getting recognition for the difference in work done by the trans community, to develop an appreciation for a true trans aesthetic.
